If your conscience will feel better if you pay for them, you can order a sample pack of over 100 gels from www.mcmaster.com, item number 7769T9. Price is $5.25 plus shipping. Vince

I made a "marketing materials request" at apollo. They got back to me in two days via email, which was a lot quicker then i expected. The email said "You should receive your materials shortly" so ill hope for the best and let you guys know when i get them. Plus shipping is FREE (:

nice, great instructable, i ordered mine already. just a question, what size are they? because it would be awesome if i could get a 5cmx5cm piece for my slave flash. if not, i'll just cut out filters for my lomo colorsplash camaera anyway

oops didn't mean to delete that, but any who, i haven't got the Rosco ones yet, but i read something about it.

Rosco is another manufacturer that you can check out. www.rosco.com These books are called gel swatches and they are used by lighting designers. Most places that sell the gel also have the swatches available for free. Look up lighting consultants or sound systems and equipment (as many sound companies also supply lighting) in the yellow pages for a local source.
