Free Movies (100% Legal)

This instructable will show you how to get free movies and TV shows. The instructable will also require you to download a program called Graboid Video. The Graboid account comes with a free trial.

Step 1: Get Graboid Video

This program will enable you do download the movies (did I mention legally?)

On their website it says "Graboid is guaranteed virus, adware, and spyware free as tested by McAfee Site Advisor and Norton Safe Web."

1. go to http://www.graboid.com/
2. once there, click GET IT NOW!
3. then click DOWNLOAD FREE
4. something like this will pop up
click save file
5. search for the setup
run the setup (with your own preferences of course)
6. let it run

Type in any movie ? Does this program have a library of movies or does it go to other web sites and get the movie you typed in ? This is great ! I tried StreamTransporter and it worked a couple of times and then quit. This would be great, I'm going to give it a try.

Ditto the previous comments- yes, P2P software is (thankfully) still legal, using it to copy movies and infringe copyright is illegal. OK, by illegal I mean almost-certainly-illegal-depending-on-what-country-you-and-the-seeders-are-in-and-who-routes-the-network-traffic-and-a-bunch-of-other-things but it's easiest to assume that it's illegal. You live in the States so I'm pretty sure it is for you. And me, and probably 99% of the site's visitors. Using this program to copy files entirely inside a country with lax copyright laws might not be illegal, but that's an unlikely exception to the general rule. Given that you've made such a big thing about an incorrect assumption in your Instructable, I suggest you unpublish it until you can back up your claim that this is "100% legal".

Your Graboid account automatically comes with a free trail. To keep getting things after the free trail, you would need to pay either 5, 15, or 30 dollars a month.

Be warned - the only way any video torrent download is legal is if every single person sharing on the P2P network is based in that country. If even a single person lives where that download is illegal, everyone on the network is liable, because they're simultaneously uploading to that person in packets (even if upload is disabled, the fact the software has that option renders all clients liable).

This isn't a valid How-to. It's spam, plain and simple. The use of any P2P software is legal, the distribution of copyright materials without the owner's consent is illegal, regardless of the distribution means. Please pitch your half-assed products someplace else. As an advisory to any people (if there even are any) who may be fooled by your scam: There is no such thing as "100% Legal". Laws are specifically written to be interpreted, weighing action and intent. Anything can be legally acceptable, until it's used to commit a crime. A hammer is a tool you can legally own and use, until you crush someone's skull with it, then it becomes a weapon. Software is no different. Using the software is fine. But the burden is on YOU, the downloader to make sure you have written consent from the copyright holder or already legally own the Movie, software, music etc. Even then you should educate your self about your Country's laws, right down to the local municipality. Does a specific download fall under the definition of "fair use"? The truth is, there are dozens of these sites popping up every week. They're all rebranded versions of various opensource P2P apps, with a few minor interface changes. The Authors promote the hell out of it for a few weeks, and either bombard the site's visitors with ads, offer a "Pro Version" for sale, or just try to establish a small userbase so they can sell the company quickly to some poor schmuck, and take them for all their investment capital. They promote by spamming user driven sites, as the multiple links back from many reputable sites (like this one) drive up their search ratings. The poster is a con-man who'd see you saddled with thousands of dollars in fines and legal fees, just so he can potentially make a few cents from you. If you want to pirate movies, fine, more power to you. But do so knowing there are potential consequences for your actions. Don't just take the word of some anonymous poster online. As a challenge to the validity of these claims, I invite the poster to point me laws he's researched. Just give me the country, section numbers, and a few supporting rulings. If you can prove me wrong, I'll gladly withdraw my comment. If not, please don't post here again.

Using Graboid is legal. Just like torrents are legal. The videos you get using these services are illegal, the copyrighted ones any way. (which is most of them) So you are stealing. Therefore you will be a thief.

Seriously. Just get a Netflix account or the like. Save yourself the trouble, and lemonie *might* not bash you for spamming. If you have to mention him by name, chances are he's right.
And for the record, nothing is "guaranteed virus, adware, and spyware free", hence why the virus services update their libraries all the time.
