I was cutting stuff with my rotary tool, with safety glasses.
A wheel broke and hit my face so I decided to make a shield.
5 minutes and free.
Not much of a instructable but totally worth doing.

neat & sweet! great job & great idea. I have the same problem. with most people being right handed, one would think dremel would reverse the spin direction. great solution!

Nice idea. Could you design something like that for a Chicago Electric Oscillating Multifunction power tool? Do you think it would be about the same?

Very clever, is it glass, pet?
Why not just stay out of the line of fire? It isn't hard.
Trying to do fine cuts not going all the way through so had to kinda get in the way.
Well you seem to have lived through it.
Very clever solution.
Thank you
nice but I find a shield on the tool limits my movements, a full face shield is my apparel of choice
true but i was looking for a free fast way to finish what i was doing.
its nice for polishing rings also since the compound does not fly all over me.
