How to recycle old SCART-Cables to use them for Your projects.

Step 1: All You Need Is: a SCART-Cable, a Pair of Pliers and Some Kind of Cutting Tool.

Step 2: Unscrew the Cabs of the Plugs on Each Side of the Cable.

Step 3: Open the Housing of Each of the Plugs and Put Them to Side.

Step 4: Clip Off the Wires From the Connectors on Each Plug.

Step 5: Slice the Isolation at the Complete Length of the Cable.

Step 6: Pull the Wires Out of the Isolation.

i always use cat 5 cable. i tried to solder scart but the solder just wouldnt hold on thr cable

<p>works with IEC power cables and telephone wire and so many others. i like ribbon cables too.</p><p>great way to stock your junk drawer</p><p>if you can snag some 200pair telephone cable its great for breadboards. just get an axe and cut chunks in 6&quot;, 8&quot;, 12&quot; lengths.....</p>
<p>Works well if you're in europe, not so much in north american. But you can do the same thing with serial and parelel computer cables.</p>
