Getting stuff for free is great but unfortunately its not that common. There are several ways to get XBox LIVE for free according to this website, xbox-live-4-free however at the moment not all of them are available (*please see note at bottom of page). The only method available at the moment is signing up to a site like prizerebel so here's the lowdown.
This instructable is aimed at informing you on how to get a free XBox LIVE account by signing up to prizerebel. The next step provides more information on how this site works and what you need to do.
1. Sign up to prizerebel
2. SPEND 40 MINUTES. Complete the forms to get some points - i will tell you how to do this with no inconvenience to you
3. Get XBox LIVE for free

So where's the catch? Well as with everything that seems to good to be true, there is one. The offers that you fill in send A LOT of junk to your email address, clogging it up with adverts and offers, but there is an easy way around this. Simply set up a new email address at one of the major email providers like Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail and once you have got your LIVE code or are done with prizerebel, just forget about it.
Remeber you can use this if you live in the UNITED STATES, UNITED KINGDOM, CANADA or AUSTRALIA

To prevent people abusing the system you can only sign up one email address from your ip and the email and postal addresses you use to subscribe for the mailing lists have to be real.
