Step 3Get Some Points
Now its time to earn your prize!!
To get XBox LIVE for free you need to get 8 points, and like i've said before that should take less than an hour (I did it in 2 bouts of 20 minutes - only because some offers take 24 hours to show up in your account).
Once you've logged into your account, simply click the "View Available Offers" link as I've highlighted in the picture below and then choose the type of offer you want to complete from the page that appears.
Make sure you choose offers from the right country you are in or the points may not be credited. If you are from the USA there are several catergories of offers including credit card and cellphone offers, my advice is to stay away from these unless you really know what you are doing. These offers do give you more points but could end up costing you money and like the title of this instructable says, we want to keep this FREE.
PRO TIP:
Here's another tip, sometimes the sites ask for your postal address and phone number. If this is something you are unwilling to share, then simply make one up - remember Google is your friend. But you need to make sure that the Zip Code/Postal Code and the street name actually exist and that they match, you cant just pluck one out of thin air. For extra safety, if any offer has a box saying it might send you adverts through the post, just click NO.
