Free Yacht Chapter 8: Celebrate Freedom

On the fourth of July the Free Yacht seemed like just the place to celebrate the freedom we Americans are so famous for.

Our plan was to motor out and anchor in the shallows just upwind of the park and watch the fireworks.

Hilarity ensued!

I suppose you are still a bit free. Over here, where your rulers lived before you turned the tables on us, you are likely to either be threatened with, or arrested, for taking a photo of a unifrom wearer. And we have seemingly dozens of "New Offices" capable of spending all day pissing off law-abiding people going about their business.

I have enjoyed the whole saga and reccomend that you write a book leaving no occurence out, you may be able to then afford a boat that is not free. Keep up the good and funny work.

I must say, that's the only thing I have ever been "pulled over" for by the coast guard. We always had enough, but they were hidden in lockers and holds and whatnot. That would be a sight to see, however. As they move in for the (revenue enhancement) kill, have everyone on deck pull out a concealed lifejacket and start waving it. (no really, it's all about safety, not cash)
