About 20 years ago I was in charge for a time the young men of the Church. Common was that we had sports or outdoor recreation. For those cases, I made a passive megaphone, ie without electronic amplification, those that were used for centuries to direct the voice forward, minimizing the dispersion, which in practice is almost equivalent to an amplification, and it is really effective.
A few days ago, during my bike rides, I found thrown in the trash one of these washing machine agitators, like that I used at that time, and although now I don't need a megaphone, I picked it up and brought it home to the only effect of making this instructable. I hope that some readers will find it useful.

This agitator is slightly more complicated than 20 years ago: It has a central cone that must be removed. That will be the first step. To do this, must be cut in the first place the thinner end of the rotor, in order to introduce a saw blade in what would now call "the horn" and thus remove the annoying central cone.
After removing the central cone, you have to match the interior of the horn as much as possible. I'm not an audio expert, but I suppose that any irregularity on the inner surface of the speaker will influence negatively the final result.

excellent, especially to take to the soccer games.
Interesting techniques.
From a "twin-tub" washing machine I think.

Saludos.
(Hi Bruno, thanks for the comment. If at some point I need to dedicate to piquetero and need the megaphone, I'll follow your suggestion. For now, I'll keep laburando ... A hug.
