I have been a bread maker since i was ten.. love to find new ideas... thank you so much.. you have inspired me to put in a few of my bread recipes. sure looks yummy and the idea of mixing the garlic with oil into dough fabulous!

how would you go about to make the garlic flavor all throughout the dough and not just on top, cause i wanted to make a lightly flavored garlic bread for hot dogs o.0

I think what I would do is roast the garlic, make it into a paste (by mashing and adding just a bit of olive oil), then mix that in with the dough. This should give a nice, subtle garlic flavor.

Thanks! It's super easy and delicious (and so much cheaper than buying baguettes at the grocery store), so I tend to make it every couple of weeks.

Awesome! Have any suggestions for using bread flour?

I've always just used all purpose flour, but I'm sure bread flour would be fine. This us a really robust recipe that holds up well to all different kinds of changes i have tried.
