Wait just a doggone minute: WHAT batter. It mentions 3 spoons (btw, what size spoon, please) and the next step says to put the apple in the batter. Surely the batter has more ingredients than just flour and sugar?

flour sugar nutmeg cinnamon. sorry about the "spoons" ill fix that. just never used real measurements. 1/2 tablespoon should do nicely
