3 cups soaked Sabudana
1 cup roasted Peanut powder
1 tbsp finely chopped Green Chillies
1 Potato boiled and mashed
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tbsp Water
pinch of Baking Soda
1/4 cup finely chopped Coriander Leaves
Oil for deep frying
How to soak Sabudana
Take a 1 1/4 cup of Sabudana or Sago seeds, rinse very well in cold water.
Then cover sabudana with enough water and soak for 30 mts.
After 30 mts, drain off all excess water from Sabudana, cover.
Now allow it to rest overnight.
How to make Sabudana Vada
Take soaked sabudana in to mixing bowl.
To that add cumin seeds, boiled potato, chopped green chilli.
Add baking soda, coriander leaves, peanut powder, mix well.
Add some water to make it in to stiff dough.
Now make small patties from Sabudana Vada mixture.
Deep fry all vadas until it gets deep golden color.
Serve hot with peanut chutney!
Use red chilli powder, in place of green chillies.
Step away from stove after you drop vadas in to hot oil.
