In the Philippines, it is called "Maruya". It is commonly sold in the streets or prepared at home.

Try this with green bananas (actually they are not bananas, but "platano" in spanish) because they have less sugar, so you can do it like salad crisps. hope you do it!

agreed, its hard having to deal with tasty little treats like these with out knowing how to do it. I bet these would make an awesome twist on a banana split. lol
