One wash after purchase, these Forever 21 pants developed holes along the top elastic seam. Turns out hand-stitching isn't the only way to repair damaged material goods. I do not sew. I stud. And these pants are better for it

Yeah, that helps. If your pliers are skinny enough you could use those though.

Don't buy a studding tool. Use needle nose pliers. It turns out much nicer.
