From Scratch Recipes

The Instructables crowd is good at many things. Not least among them is foodie antics. In the best of times making recipes and ingredients from scratch can result in tasty treats that are far more fresh, better for you and better tasting than anything you can buy in a store. In our current economic climate making things from scratch can also allow you to eat well and feed your gourmand habits on any budget.

Here is a sample of some of the great scratch recipes you can find on Instructables!

Thanks, I spent quite a bit of time hunting them up for the guide but it turned out really well.

God Created the universe and since Dr. Carl Sagan died he now knows that too.

I just think it's good to look at more than one way of doing the same thing but if interpreting it differently inspires more amazing Instructables then yes it was very hard and everyone should post more! :) The main reason there are doubles is that the methods actually do differ in them. That can be important for both diverse learning types and for varying resources available to different people.

I'm alittle thrown off by the fact most of the instructables here have a double that tells the same thing(but maybe in a different container) in the same guide. Was it hard to find different good from-scratch ible? If so that should be a sign to anybody who can make from scratch anything. You should make amazing 'ibles so we can have large diverse guides!
