Introduction: Frozen Chocolate Mousse

Here is a perfect way to stay cool this summer with frozen chocolate mousse. This is easy to make and is no bake. It makes a great dessert for any summer event.

Ingredients:
• 3 cups of Heavy whipping cream
• 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 tablespoon Vanilla
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• ¼ cup Sugar
One chocolate bar-frozen

Utensils:
• Mixer
• Microwave safe bowl
• Measuring Utensils

Step 1: Prepare:

In a microwave safe bowl combine 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate, 1 cup heavy whipping cream, 1 tablespoon vanilla, and 1/8 teaspoon salt.

Microwave the mixture on 50% power for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between. The mixture is done when all of the chocolate has melted. Be careful not to burn the chocolate.

Set the chocolate mixture aside to cool while you prepare the whip cream.

Step 2:

In a large mixing bowl combine 2 cups of whipping cream and ¼ cup white sugar. Mix in a mixer on high until soft white peaks form.

Step 3:

Fold the chocolate mixture into the whip cream. To do this make sure the chocolate mixture is room temperature and gently folds chocolate mixture into the whip cream.  Place in freezer for one hour to chill.

Step 4: To Make Chocolate Topping:

Remove chocolate bar from freezer and unwrap.  Place a large bowl under the chocolate bar to catch the topping.  Using a vegetable peeler shave the chocolate.  This takes some practice to be able to get curls.

Remove the mousse from the freezer and top with chocolate shavings and serve.

Makes 8 large serving
To store place moose in the refrigerator after one hour. 

Step 5: Extra:

Try using dark chocolate are white chocolate instead for a different flavors!
Also to make a simple pie use mousse as filling and place in pie crust of your choice!
