Fruit Bouquets' How to Make Fruit Arrangements & American Flag Fruit Kabob Skewers

Introduction: Fruit Bouquets' How to Make Fruit Arrangements & American Flag Fruit Kabob Skewers

Fruit Bouquets presents How to Make Fruit Snacks and Arrangements. In this episode we will show you how to make an American Flag out of bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. Join us as we present a salute to our Veterans.

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients

To make this snack you will need strawberries, bananas, blueberries, and of course you’ll need fruit skewers to hold everything together.

Step 2: Begin Assembling the Stars

Now that we have our ingredients together, we’ll start working on the stars of our flag. To do this you’ll place 5 blueberries on each fruit skewer.

Step 3: Build the Stripes

While we’re constructing our Stars we can also start constructing our Stripes. To do this, grab a new skewer and begin placing strawberries and bananas up the skewer. Remember to start with the strawberry and alternate between strawberries and bananas with each piece you add to the skewer. For the Stripes there should be 7 pieces of fruit in total on the skewer (4 Strawberries and 3 Bananas).

Step 4: Add Your Stripes to the Stars

Of course you’ll need to add the Stripes underneath your Stars. So after adding the blueberries to the Stars skewers, take 2 strawberries and 2 bananas and add them under the blueberries. Again, remember to start with the strawberry and alternate between the two fruits with each piece you add.

Step 5: Begin Building Your Flag

Now that we finished constructing our fruit skewers we’ll start assembling our flag. First grab you Star skewers and place them on the left side of the plate. Once all the Star skewers are in a row, add your Stripes and your flag is set.

My mother-in-law made this two years ago with marshmallows and raspberries instead of banana and strawberries. It was delicious, and our toddler loved the sugary marshmallow. Quick, easy and family freiendly.

What a cute and tasty idea! Definitely a great way to celebrate Veterans Day!
