Introduction: Full English Breakfast Pizza

I really like full English breakfasts.. and I really like pizza so I decided to combine the two and made a Full English Breakfast Pizza!

The ingredients needed to make the pizza are:
Pizza dough - store bought or handmade, enough for one pizza base
Grated cheese
One tomato
One potato
One egg
Two mushrooms
Two sausages
Three rashers of bacon
Five table spoons of baked beans
Half a small tin of tomato puree

Step 1: Cut and Fry Potatoes

The first thing that needs to be done is to cut the potato into slices and fry them. This is necessary as potato takes such a long to cook that it would not be completely cooked through if you just put it straight onto the pizza and into the oven!

Step 2: Chop Ingredients

You now need to chop up the other ingredients:

Cut the tomato into slices, and then halve them.
Cut the rashers up into little strips about 1cm thick
Slice the mushrooms thinly
Cut the sausages into cubes

Step 3: Prepare the Pizza Base

The second thing that needs to be done is to roll out the pizza dough and put it onto your baking tray.

I like to put the pizza base onto the baking tray before I add the topping. This is best as the base is quite tricky to move after you add ingredients, and you risk the ingredients falling off as you try to put your pizza base on the tray. So this way it is a lot easier!

Step 4: Add Ingredients

Now it is time to add the ingredients to the pizza!

First of all you need to spread the tomato puree all over the pizza base, then sprinkle the cheese out evenly. Add the rest of the ingredients one by one, first the potatoes, then the sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans.

NB. Do not add the egg to the pizza just yet

Step 5: Cook the Pizza

Yip, after you have added all the ingredients it is time to put your pizza into the oven!

I pre-heated the oven to 220'c and then put the pizza in. Set your timer for eight minutes, as once the pizza has been in for eight minutes it is time to add the egg on top.

Step 6: Add the Egg

To add the egg it is best to first crack the egg into a glass or bowl. This means that if any of the egg shell breaks off, it is easy to fish out of the bowl instead of trying to find it once you have added the egg to the pizza.

Once you have cracked the egg, simply pour it onto the middle of your pizza and pop it back in the oven for another eight minutes, or until the egg white is completely looked through.

Step 7: Voila!

After your pizza has been in for a total of 16 minutes, or once the egg white is completely cooked through, your pizza is now ready.

Enjoy!
