Step 1: Make Your Stencils

Make your stencils according to EZScreenPrint's instructions. EZScreen's come ready to use so no fussing with liquid emulsion, YAY!!

What you'll need:

1 - completed EZScreen stencils (elephant, giraffe, zebra, & leopard print)

2 - cardboard keepsake box (any craft supply store will carry one)

3 - squeegee

4 - variety of paintbrushes

5 - plastic canvas

6 - Speedball screen printing inks

Step 2: Mix the Inks

I used three different colors and mixed them to make a pretty safari green. Speedball opaque pearly white, yellow, and green.

Step 3: Screen Print Your Design

Using the safari green ink, screen print the design on the top of the box. You can use blue painters tape to keep the stencil in place or hold it down firmly with your other hand.

Step 4: Repeat

Repeat the same process on the sides of the box using the same stencil, or a different stencils with other designs. I have chose a zebra and leopard print. The leopard print was screen printed with Speedball brown.

Step 5: Paint the Borders

Once the top has dried, carefully paint the borders of the top with the same green.

Step 6: Lastly...

Once the borders have dried, you can screen print an additional image on the top of the box. The elephant design was screen printed with Speedball black. And you are finished!
