First, sew the two (A) pieces together with the seam on the inside.
Then, do the same with the (C) pieces. The (C) section will be your hood.
Sew the (B) pieces to the (A) pieces, but leave the crossed-out sections open. These will be your arm holes.
Sew the (C) piece to the (A) piece.
Sew the lines that the arrows are pointing to, but do it in the inside. This is where your shoulders rest.
Follow the previous steps with the fur. Note that the fur will need to be hand-stitched because it will gunk up your machine and break your needle. Y...
Remember that the fur is the lining (or “inside”) of the cloak, so make sure the fury part is facing the right direction.
This is not required, but it is a nice touch. Choose a design, cut it out, and pin it to the back of the cloak (the suede).
Start by making a straight stitch as close to the edge of the design as possible. Then, cut off the excess material.
This part is called satin stitch appliqué. For those who don’t know, this is a very close zigzag stitch that attaches one piece of fabric to another....
Role the fur over the suede on the bottom of the cloak and sew it down. Remember to hand stitch the fur.
Sew the inside of the hoods together along the neckline.
Roll the fur over the suede on the rim of the hood and sew it down.
Roll the fur over the suede on the rim of the arm holes and sew it down.
Roll the fur over the suede on the rim of the front openings and sew it down.
Sew clasps to the front opening of the cloak.
