Add pockets from old jeans to a bucket to organize garden tools. Instead of throwing away your old jeans, use most of those old pants to make a tool belt to strap around a bucket. Make this without buying any new materials, and customize your pockets depending on what tools you like to use.

Cut around the back pockets of a pair of jeans. If you want four pockets, you need two pair. Cut off pairs of belt loops. Cut a long piece of the leg inseam (crotch to ankle) with about 3 inches of fabric off each side of the seam. Cut the bottom of the pant legs to make baggies to organize inside of bucket.

This instructable is a sure winner. How do we vote for it? This has so many applications outside the garden. This project provides value to your handyman, electrician, and ice fisherman. Fantastic. Thank you.

Strambeer: You have to wait until the entry stage ends and the voting stage begins (I'm not sure when this is, you can check on the contest page). When the voting stage begins, you will see a "Vote" button by the "Get in the Garden" picture at the top of this instructable.

This is fabulous! great job! I would only add a couple pieces of extra velcro along the inside of the bucket - under the material. Just for a little extra security to hold the material on to the inside. reduce, reuse, recycle - you go girl! Youv'e given me the idea of taking this and making a row of pockets to hang down the side of my daughters night stand. she never has enough room to put her things. I'm going to add a some frills and bling for that shabby-chic look. :)

This is a neat idea. My wife has a similar tool holder from Fiskars that she likes. It is clever to use old blue jeans.
