Introduction: Garden Label Tags (I Made This at Techshop)

Picture of Garden Label Tags (I Made This at Techshop)

Step 1) Cut out some 2 1/2in stripe of copper. I used the a hydraulic shear but the if you use thin gauge sheet hand shears will do.
Step 2) Draw a 4in triangle about 4in down from the end of work copper stripe.
step 3) Cut off your 8 in section, then trim off the corners to create your spike.
Step 4) Grab up some letter punches and write out your labels.
Step 5) By using a hammer pound the punch into the metal, make sure you have a solid surface under your piece, like a vise.
Step 6) Plug these suckers in the garden.

Nice idea! I really think you should put a picture of the finished project first so people can get an idea of your project right away :)
