String a waste bead in a contrasting color and lock it on by passing back through in the same direction. Be sure it slides freely.
String large and small seed beads as follows oOooOooOo
(That is, one small, one large, two small, one large, two small, one large.)
Pass back through them in the same direction to form a tight loop. Remove the waste bead.
