Hi!, this is my first Instructable! Going to make a keychain with computer keys. It's simple, and can be completed in less than 15 minutes. Let there.
You need:
-The ring of a keychain
-Links (from a fine chain, for example)
-Computer keys (please, you don't remove the keys to your new computer =P)
-Barbecue skewer (or similar)
-Lighter
-Pliers

Sorry for my bad English, I'm Spanish!

Step 1: Make holes in the keys

First, heat the barbecue skewer with a lighter (about 10-15 seconds). Then, make a hole in the side of the key, pushing strong but slowly. Remove the skewer barbecue fast to avoid sticking. You can remove the remains of plastic with pliers.

c27_mari (author) in reply to DarrjusOct 11, 2009. 3:22 PM
Well, back it isn't too nice, but that really matters? ;)
Anyway you could fill it whit silicone.
Darrjus in reply to c27_mariOct 13, 2009. 1:15 PM
Good idea but sillicone must be white, no limpid. P.S. What make key supr? I'm not have this button. "Supr" = "delete"  ?
HHL in reply to DarrjusJan 3, 2010. 3:39 PM
Yes. It's delete on a spanish keyboard.

I also like the Bloq/Blog key on this one.

I'm not sure if such a tiny amount of plastic counts, but wouldn't it be hazardous and toxic to melt the keys?
c27_mari (author) in reply to KrisJROct 11, 2009. 3:15 PM
I don't think so because I think that it didn't emit fumes when I do it, but you could use a mask if you want. If you do it carefully it won't be dangerous (like everything).

Great! and I love your other keychain =]
--scare-- in reply to c27_mariJan 23, 2009. 2:42 PM
what, this mcdonalds tamagochi figurine?...

*joke* : It's been so long since I pressed on the reset button, that my tamagochi has cataracts (his eyes used to be black)

also, I took two separate chains that used to hold south park keychains to attach my ALT and DELETE buttons to the first one, witch is held to my keys by a hook screw that comes from a third keychain. to seal everything i filled the back of the buttons with 5 minute epoxy (holds the chains and screw in)

cheers!

Sorry for my bad English, I'm Spanish!

You've nothing to apologize for. Here's the extent of my Spanish:
Cuidado! Piso Mojado

Which according to the sign next to me means "Caution! Wet Floor" in English.

The only question I had was the title of Step 2: Unite the keys. At first I thought you meant untie the keys because I saw you pulling the chain links apart. Then I saw that there was more to the step.

This is uber-cool. Nice english, btw. Mine is gonna say, "G33K."

Mmmmm ... Now I want to make one with your idea! is great =)!
Browncoat says: Jun 28, 2008. 4:51 PM
I made this, but can't get a decent pic to show you. Instead of making the holes with hot metal, I used a small bit on a power drill.
c27_mari (author) in reply to BrowncoatJun 29, 2008. 1:09 AM
not problem, sure is very well =)! can also be done with the drill, but I had no one to hand = P.

Here it is. The second one is me wearing it with the rest of my geek key ring (the ends of wires like keyboard, headphones, etc.) It would also work with

On the right hand side, there should be a drop down bar that says something along the lines of: "Remove from contests"
