Getting a Girlfriend AND KEEPING HER

There are LOTS of "How To Get A Girlfriend" guides out there, and most of us all preach the same thing, however, they also assume that you the newbie to women... know how to do all this stuff we tell you to do. Sure you now have the confidence to walk up to a woman... but what do you SAY? When should you keep trying to get her phone number and be persistent, and know when to call your conversation quits and move on. This guide is complete with flow charts, example lines, and a user input section for additional tips and ticks so you... the love newbie... can be the next Fabio.. err.. or something.

If you decide that you would like to curl up in a ball and pretend like you hate love because in all honesty you are too chicken to out and find a girl who will like you for who you are, thats fine... but this instructable is not for you. 

Here we are going to cover a step by step guide to not finding a girlfriend, and having a great relationship with her. This guide could be used for quick gain purposes, however, this is my short terms and conditions on using this instructable: YOU WILL NOT BE A D-BAG! If you are looking for a quick "Get Lucky Then Chucky" guide... You are not in the right place.

We will cover where, and how to find a girl, how to approach her, the talk and number exchange, and then how to keep your woman, and drills you can do to build courage and keep that confidence level up. In the end there will also be some "Tips and Tricks, and Notes" for women too. 

Step 1 Where and How to Find a Woman

 First I would like to congratulate you as a male because in the world the ratio of men to women is 1.1 so pretty darn close to 50:50 (its like 51:49, or for you percentage people there are 51% males in the world and 49% females).  AND there is a high probability that you are reading this in the United States or the United Kingdom (based on Alexa data on who visits instructables most) then there are actually MORE women then men... so you SHOULD be able to find one. 

Now where do I find these women?
Well look around there are tons of them, you could just walk up to one and start talking... but if you were confident enough to do that, you probably wouldn't need to read this instructable. So here are some great places to start

* Bus Stops 
* Malls (in a shop)
* Street Corners (no, not at night, remember what I said in the intro.. we are not going after those type of girls) 
* Near bathrooms (not like a stalker, but if you are in the area... women sometimes stand outside of bathrooms waiting for friends and are thus bored and would like someone to talk to)

The point is you want to be in a location where there is good traffic flow, but where you have an opportunity to grab eye contact and start up a conversation... obviously just trying to start a conversation with a random girl in a busy New York street is not going to yield great results, but if you both are stopped at a cross walk (street corner) you have a good chance to say something. You don't want somewhere too closed off though, unless you are getting really good vibes... because you don't want to be sitting next to her on the train car, start talking to her, have her shoot you down off the bat or something, and then be stuck sitting next to her the rest of the ride.

Who should I approach?
Eventually you will get the hang of women who want to be left alone, and women who are welcome to conversation...However, for starters I would just approach women who are more down to earth looking. You can go after Lady GaGa after you get some more experience, for now stick with real life looking girls. Honestly those are the ones I am most attracted to anyway, so for me, this is not a problem. If you are not highly attracted to "real" looking women, and like the "high maintenance" I would suggest at least starting with more "down to earth" women, to get the hang of things.

How should I approach?
((This is a very important step))
Make sure you keep two numbers in your head 10 and 5 (for when you are approaching a woman by walking up to her) 
* Start trying to make eye contact at 10 feet... (maybe a few feet more than that.. but you don't want to be creepy looking either)
* Stop approaching at 5 feet if your not getting eye contact

if you are at a stop somewhere, or if the two of you are just waiting for friends outside a bathroom... just position yourself next to the person, or walk up to the person and start talking....

 Are you just going up and doing it, KNOWING she is going to say yes? Or are you over-analyzing the situation? You just have to be very personal and go up and say HI!

i look back at my comments i posted 2 years ago. i realise how socially akward i seem lol and yeah it is really random for someone to just walk up and talk if you dont know them. you kinda have to put yourself in a situation where its not so akward to just start "talking" to them

hey theres this girl at school i like im in year 7. she doenst really know me and she didnt go to my primary shool (secendary whatever you call it im aussie) word got around that i like her but im too nervous to ask her out. she isnt in any of my classes either. she might like me but im not sure and i REALLY dont want to ask her out around her friends. im WAY too nervous. im not a nerd but i havent had a girlfriend all year. please help me

If the world the ratio of men to women is 1.1, why are you congratulating the men without a word for the women who would be the majority?
And are you serious about "near bathrooms" as being a good pick-up spot?!
And remember that getting a number may be a long way off getting her phone number...

 Also the point of this is to get you out talking to woman, HER number and A number in this case are the same, because eventually you *WILL* get a fake number (I can honestly say I have not, but its bound to happen)... but if you had the courage to talk to a woman, and look her in the eyes and tell her that she needs to give you her number... Then you have completed this instructable.

 Because it means that the total is almost equal... and then taking into consideration the numbers of people who do not want to have relationships, number of gay men vs lesbian women, amount of men who don't have the courage to walk up to a woman and start talking, etc.  by reading my guide and following it, there should be no reason that you don't wind up with a woman. Not only that... but as I said, in the United States and in the UK there are more women to men.

I am serious about outside the bathrom to pickup women...  As long as your not creepy about it, and you are legitimately waiting for a friend, or for something in the area. The woman does not WANT to stand out side the bathroom waiting for her friend... so by approaching her there, your chances of a successful "hook" (getting her to talk back to you) is higher.

Ah right. Where I live women go into the bathroom together and talk to each other, they only wait outside when they're queuing (and that would not be a good time to try to chat to them)
