Step 3: Contacting the store

After educating yourself on receiving the stickers in order to get the studs. Go to the Contact Us page to ask the store if they will send you some stickers.

An example of how you should fill out the fields is

Full Name:
John Doe
E-Mail Address:
example@fake.com
Inquiry:
Hi, I was wondering if you could send me some free stickers for the free English '77 studs deal.

They will most likely send you an e-mail back telling you to send them a self addressed stamped envelope and the sticker design you want. You can get a maximum of 5 free stickers, but you can choose a couple of each design or 5 of one.

Step 4: Sending a S.A.S.E.

Picture of Sending a S.A.S.E.
Fill out an envelope with your address in the return address area (top left corner) and their's in the send to area (center). Fill out a second envelope with the addresses in the opposite areas, yours in the send to and theirs in the top left. Stamp both but do not seal both. The one with your address (do not seal) in the send to area will go on the inside of the other envelope, which you will seal. It may also be a good idea to send them something inside the envelope stating which stickers you want.

Step 5: Take pictures of the stickers

Stick your stickers on anything in a public place, like a stop sign, a car bumper, a library computer, sliding door of a store, cash register, post office drop box, etc. Be creative. Also, be sure to take a picture of your sticker so you can send them to studsandspikes.com in order for them to send you your studs.

Sadly, this Instructable is outdated. Studs and Spikes does still offer free stickers, and patches, but one cannot simply post pics of aforementioned free stickers plastered on things and receive free studs. If I'm wrong, please correct me.
