Definitely worth a try, but think my kids would be better off w yogurt drop teeth, and maybe one or two chocolate chips for kid ewww factor. Thanks for the instructable!
Wait- is peanut butter meant to be sweet? The one that I've always eaten is salty O.O

To freshen breathe, you could use mints instead of marshmallows/chocolates.

I made these last year (posted that I used cinnamon spread or strawberry cream cheese in place of PB due to school rules) but recently discovered "SCHOOL SAFE" Soybutter, which looks AND tastes like PB. Hopefully get a chance to make them for another school party!

This was perfect for my Halloween picnic with husband #1.  While I didn't have mm's, I substituted with walnut pieces.  Realistic(?)  Yummy(!)

Good luck in the contest!

Awesome!  Thanks!

I made these for my child's halloween party at school, so no peanut butter allowed.  I used cinnamon spread on 1/2 of them, and strawberry cream cheese on the others...I cut the marshamallows and made fangs on some of them.  They turned out GREAT!

PB and apple slices are very yummy. And as long as you don't go overboard on the PB, it's quite healthy.

Apples and peanut butter tastes a lot like caramel apples, only a lot healthier and quicker to put together.
They look really cool!!

Peanut butter and apple? Does that "go"?

Peanut butter and banana, that goes...

Are you kidding? I've been living on peanut butter and apples since I was a kid! My mom used to core whole apples and stuff them with peanut butter. Hard to eat, but very fun. Also very hard to get peanut butter to actually stick to the apples. . . but worth the effort.
I guess it's a cultural thing, like deep-fried chocolate bars*.

*Which I have never, ever tried.
 in reply to small print:
good idea. it is horrible.
really? maybe i won't try it then... haha.
Don't let them fool you, it is delicious. Think of funnel cake with melted chocolate and gooey caramel.

I wouldn't be able to eat it more than once a year, but it is something you ought to try once.

As far as apples and peanut butter go, I've been eating them together my whole life.  They can be messy, but they are great together.
sounds good... =P this is the first time i've heard of apples and peanut butter... only tried banana and peanut butter...
i might have to try that deep fried chocolate bars thing... just once... because it sounds like doing it again will kill me... also, i've never heard of peanut butter and apples either.... but peanut butter and banana is great!

 Ewww. Don't make me gag!
But really, you are missing out.  When I was little, my favorite snack was apples&peanut butter, But if you're like me, and don't like sweet stuff, like the gag-inducing thing you mentioned, try a Granny Smith apple, or other tarter, not as sweet apple with natural peanut butter (preferably made with peanuts and not a gallon of freaking sugar. ick).  The crunchiness of the apple and the smooth texture of the peanut butter are wonderfully complimentary. :)
APPLES AND peanut butter is SOOOOOOOOOOOO good!
Kiteman, you are really missing out. Peanut butter and apples make the best snack. A little bit of protein and some fruit, yummy!
The peanut butter would probably stick best if you dried the apples with a paper towel first, or even dusted them with a very small amount of corn starch.

Awesome idea - so cute!
