Now roll out the gingerbread dough into quite a thin plate. Then lay the Mario template on the dough and cut the dough along the outline. You can also make some more gingerbread cookies, as there will likely be quite a lot of the dough. Transfer the cookies on an ungreased baking sheet (or whatever) and bake them in the oven.

Your dough recipe should tell you how long to cook them - usually around 8 - 10 minutes.
