Introduction: Glass Guitar Slide

This guitar slide was a present for one of my family members that I made to go with there oil can guitar
It's a cheap and quick alternative of buying a band new one and it has a personal touch to it this is also a recycling instructable because the beer whine or soda bottle would have other wise been thrown away and so I have turned "trash into treasure"

Step 1: Choosing the Bottle

You first have to choose the right bottle for you. For example if you have a small finger than you will want a long thin neck bottle.

Step 2: Cutting the Bottle

Cut the bottle to fit your finger using a tile cutter a diamond blade and water

Step 3: Sanding

Sand the end that has just been cut to get rid of those rough edges and smooth it all out. Try not to scratch the surface of the bottle neck while sanding the end. The type of grit of sanding paper if up to you and how smooth you want it to be but I recommend up to 600 grit

Step 4: Polishing

This step is optional but can really change the look of the piece. Get some polishing compound and a dremel like tool and using a buffing wheel on the dremel like tool buff it out with the polishing compound on the piece.
