Make glossy flower decor with just 2 items!
What you'll need:
- Sticky notes
- Nail polish
I came across this method as I'm researching on how to preserve origami. After I gave it a try, I found that not only it can help the origami last longer, the nail polish also gives an interesting finish. I reckon the final product is great for a decor on any other craft projects.

Step 8: Open the Left and Right Sides. Fold Following the Creases

Open left and right sides. Fold following the creases made:
- Small triangle on the bottom right corner
- Large triangle on the bottom left corner
Step 9: Fold the Top of the Left Triangle
When folding the larger triangle, follow the image above. Fold
down the top flap along the horizontal line. Fold inward the left pocket to form a tilted diamond.
Step 10: The Unit Should Look Like This Image at This Point
Step 11: Fold the Right Side and Into Half
Fold the right side inward. Flip the unit over. Fold the unit in half by bring the right side to the center.
Step 12: Flip the Unit Over and Fold the Bottom Flap Twice
Flip the unit over so the side on top is longer than the bottom side. Fold the bottom upward so it's inline with the side below. Fold it one more time following the clip above.
Step 13: Make 5 of the Same Units
Make another 4 units after the first one, total 5 units.
Step 14: Assemble the Petals
Join them together by pushing the bottom flap of each petal to the
others. The last petal will be a bit tricky, so be patience!
Step 15: Apply Nail Polish to the Flower
After the flower is assembled, apply nail polish from the outer side to the inside of the flower. Apply more layers to make it shinier.
Step 16: Finished!
