In this instructable, I'm going to show you how to make a yummy gluten free apple crisp! Enjoy!

Step 1: Cut Apples

First things first: you need to cut your apples. I am using an apple corer which works really well, but you can just slice them, as long as they are still very thin. Cut as many apples as you need to fill a 9x13" pan. I used about 8 medium sized apples. You might need more or less, just fill the pan until it is filled to the brim.

Step 2: Cinnamon

Taking about 1-2 tablespoons cinnamon sprinkle on top of the cut apples. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons granulated sugar over as well, then set aside.

Step 3: Melt Butter

Take 1/2 cup butter and melt over low heat. While melting, continue with the next steps.

Step 4: Crumb Topping

Take 1 cup oat flour, 1 1/2 cups oats, 1 cup brown sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon. Mix together until well incorporated, then add the melted butter. Using a fork, mix until slightly wet, but crumbly.

*Optional*: feel free to add chopped nuts and shredded coconut to the topping. It adds flavor!

Step 5: Sprinkle on Topping

Bring back the apples and sprinkle on the topping. Try to make it even. It should cover the majority of the apples.

Step 6: Bake

Bake at 375° F for 45 - 60 minutes, or until the apples are fully cooked and soft.

Step 7: Serve

Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few moments. Then using a spoon or a spatula, serve. It is not supposed to stick together like a pie would, so don't expect it to!

Step 8: Enjoy!

Enjoy! Serve as a dessert with ice cream, or as a special breakfast! Anyways, it's really just apples and oatmeal:)
