Most energy that is consumed by the average person are caused by cars and the home. Go outside more to face the temptation, ride your bike to the local trails, go somewhere with friends, go to the park, golf, or preferably plant things, go to the movies with your special someone, the movie is ALREADY playing. Most cool things happen outside, so once you are done reading this instructable and comment, go outside!
