That is quite excellent. Clean, simple, and it does the job! Any test footage? I'm thinking I might build one of these tomorrow...
This is great! If you used thicker wood, you could just make a small holt for each leg to fit into, that way you can still use the tripod normally.

I've been looking for a way to create a movable tripod. I'm thinking of just removing the tripods foot pegs and then use desk chair rollers and QuickSteel them up inside the legs. That way the tripod remains foldable.

They have something like this in my schools television studio. But it's like three individual dollies that each leg sits in.
Nice! a little bulky for my tastes, but great for video production

I don't have a video camera (only still cameras), so its not really needed for someone like me. Great job, looks really sturdy and its cheap

NICE! it could also double up as a transportation device to move fat kids around the home & yard:)
Cool! I've seen these at Bar Mitzvahs before. You might want to specify it's use for moving without shaking the camera.

That looks really, really clean. I bet you could e-mail IndyMogul a video on how you did this, and i bet they would fit you into a segment.
