It's a common scene out west, but grain bin explosions can happen right here in our part of the country. You can create your own by using a few items from around the house.
This is a very dangerous thing to do with or without a parent at hand. The video makes it look like a simple little experiment with a small flame contained by the can. Without detailed instructions on how to set that experiment up, it doesn't take much of a mistake to make a large fire which could burn the people in the video. Too bad the details of amounts and preparation was not explained.
That's why I did not give the details...I do not want kids doing this without an adult...if you watched the entire video you will observe that I stressed the importance of ONLY doing this with an adult.
But you know many will try to do it themselves anyway. Plus, that's not a mistake that only a child would make; adults can be just as ignorant of the kinds of risks involved, and wouldn't necessarily be able to just infer what sort of prep is actually needed. Not showing the prep is like using closed-source cryptography.
Plus, if an adult did try that then it would really suck f the kid breathed in directly after the explosion, they would be breathing in fire, not good.
