Step 30 On playa: Re-erect the drum

A friend is a help here.  Set up the drum apart from the tray.  Reaching between the spokes of the near wheel, place the square-cut end of the long axle piece over the far wheel's hub, and slide the keeper (3" piece of 1" pipe) inside it.  Place the square-cut end of the short axle piece over the near wheel hub, align the angled ends, and wiggle the two pipes into alignment.  Tilt the drum so the keeper slides to the near end of the drum axle with an audible clack.  If it's fully slid, the 1/8" hole at 2" will now be clear.  Optionally insert a 1" screw to trap the keeper.

Move the tulle bulge to one side of the drum, to keep it away from the drive belt.  Place the drive belt around the drum.  Tug a loosely-attached gusset  outward, mount the drum, and tighten the nuts.  If the mounted drum will rotate without scraping, it's aligned well enough.
