Fruits of the tomato tree are full of vitamins and minerals. They contain hundreds of seeds. These germinate easily and the seedlings develop rather fast into pretty saplings. One can easily produce hundreds of saplings to plant an orchard of the tomato tree (Cyphomandra betacea).

Thank you so much for this video. Someone just gave me some seed ad I nearly messed up with them. I was going to start them in soil. I live on the ms gulf coast so I think they will grow here.

This is neat - I had no idea there was such a thing as a tomato tree. :)
It's a lovely tree. One should introduce it in more regions.
I have never seen a "tomato" plant like this. Are the ripened fruits of it eaten the same as in the "tomatoes" in the U.S.? Thanks for the very nice video.
Please put a search on Google for "tree tomato" to get a lot of information on the fruit.
I must give it a try !!
Thanks for the info, and thanks for the captions. Never I saw a tomato tree. I live in Argentina, maybe at north or south there are.
Glad that you liked it. My pleasure !
