Introduction: Guinea Pig Healthy Salad

Yum! Guinea pigs need vitamin c so you want to not just give them pellets and water. Fruits and vegetables are the way to go! At the end of the day give your pigs their "dinner." Breakfast should be fresh water, pellets, and hay. Let's get started.

Step 1: Set Up

Items that you need:

Cutting Board or Plate
Knife (be with adult or guardian if young)
Fruit
Vegetables
Bowl
And of course..... Your guinea pig!

Take your cutting board and put it on a flat surface with you knife. Get your fruits and vegetables. Do not feed them to many fruits. Do not give them iceberg lettuce. Kale is a good solution instead. Chop your fruits and vegetables in small pieces so it is easier for your pig to eat. Don't give banana because they can not cough stuff up because it is "slimy". Cut!

Step 2: Start Cutting

Cut your veggies and fruits but not to much so your pig may get a tummy ache because eating to much. By the way the cucumbers in this photo are so tiny!

Step 3: Finished Product

Once your done cutting put it in a bowl.

The first picture is what you don't want to give the pig. On the celery you don't want to give the ones with lines on the end, well "strings" kinda. Don't five the top of strawberries or the ends on any thing you r giving your pig for fruit and veggies. Don't give the side with fruit on the red bell peppers. :)

Step 4: Give to the Lucky Piggy

MMMMMMMMm! Look at my pig :) this is PopTart, my cute little fur ball. :)
