The first Guitar Hero video game was released on the 8th of November 2005, since then over 23 million copies of the game and controller have been sold. With this much interest it was only a matter of time before curious minds started un-screwing, painting and re-wiring their standard controllers.

a geek likes computers, technology, and usually video games and anime/comics....
i consider being a geek a good thing..... exspecially since i consider myself one.
generally, both nerds and geeks are considered smart.
also, being good at math doesn't mean you like it. i'm great at math. i HATE math.
and your missing the point about the video games. all sorts of people like video games, but geeks have a (mostly true) stereotype about loveing games and anything japanese.
You might be interested to know that the definitions AS USED of geek and nerd are exactly flipped between the US West Coast and the US East Coast.
So, you who are answering one way and the other way may be from opposite sides of the country. ie. both right for your locale
