There are three ways to make Gulab Jamun. They are with Potatoes,Full cream milk powder,or  Condensed milk.
This is  with Condensed milk.It depends on the  correct mixing of the dough. The dough has to be sticky and soft.If not the Gulab Jamun will be hard.

This is a very sweet & delicious dessert.
If you taste  once ,you will want more and more..........

Greetings! I tried this great recipe, and as feared, it was hard. And I see you have warned against the same in your recipe. Could you tell me what went wrong with my mixture?

Ohh! sad.Did you KNEAD well and cover with a wet cloth? It depends on the consistency of the dough too. When I did the first time it became hard. The first couple of time it was hard but slowly improved. When you make the balls the dough should be stiky but not stick to the palm.I will post you another nice recipe soon.

I've heard there are other variations...like potatoes and milk powder...do you happen to know how? if yes...would you please post it later? thank you

Here I am ! Sorry for the late reply. With your measurement cup,or spoon ,take 6 cups milk powder (full cream) 3 cups Rulang and 1 1/2 cup curd.Mix and knead well. The rest is same as above. Some times there will be a little curd remaining or may be that you have to add more.Depends on the mixing.

As for the potato recipe Sorry I have to search my recipe book ,it is not in my mind.
Hope this will help you.

This is one of my favorite desserts ever! But it's so hard to find a place that does it really well. The friend who introduced me to it loves it obscenely. Serious - I can't type here what he says whenever he eats it. But it's good.
