its good, but you forgot about the wheels on the car, if you were going for a picture where it seems like the car was moving when it was taken, the wheels have to be taken into account as well.
a radial blur for more circular shots of the wheels, and gaussian blur for shots like the one in the instructable.
but thats just my opinion, and im no photographer.

You're right, I did forget about the wheels. Part of the learning process, I guess. Thanks for pointing that out to me. The wheels could be done by selecting the tires and wheels using the same method as the car, with perhaps a smaller diameter selection tool. Then using the Filters-->Blur-->Radial Blur Filter. Again, I'd be careful not to overdo it.

just remember if you are doing radial blur, the more circular the view of the wheel the better. use gaussian for wheels that are more ovalsih in the picture.

and overdoing it can be pretty easy considering you have 360 blur ratios to choose from.
