This is a very brief tutorial and orientation into HDR photography. This techniques is where three images/exposures are sandwiched together to create a final image. There are several programs to choose from that are used to finesse and adjust the image to your vision. There is room to make the final photo similar to the real life.... or to make it as strange and surreal as you choose. That's up to you as an artist. One purpose of this technique is that you get information to play with in the light, middle, and dark tones.

For best results you must use a tripod. You are going to take three to five photos, of the exact same view. Each photo will be exposed differently... for example one image is under exposed by two stops, then one is exposed normal, and then one is over exposed by two stops.

These series of same but differently expose images are then composted into one final image. These three images are samples of HDR photos... the steps include documentation on the technique.
