HEAVIWEAVE Stool/side Table

This stool/table was the next generation of my Woven Steel chair project, which was formed out of steel strips. My intention for this project was to make it look like strips of aluminum woven together to form the shape of the stool/table. By using the lost wax process, I cast the 3 parts out of aluminum, then welded the legs & top together. The welds were ground down to make it appear to be cast out of one piece. I finished it buy brushing it down with scotchbrite. The dimensions are: 18w x 18h x 18d.
