Introduction: H&K USP .40

Picture of H&K USP .40
This is a my brand new gun, a knex USP .40. It preforms very well, despite it's clunky trigger, and actually has a little more range than my Glock. As far as I can tell, it's completly jam proof; as I have tested it completely, and it has yet to jam.

Features:
  • Size: 6.4" x 4.75"
  • Range: ~ 20-30 ft.
  • Accuracy: Very Consistent
  • Pc. Count: Medium
  • Mag Size: 10

Step 1: Handle

1. Place mag pusher here while loading.
2. Proper loading position.
3. Succesfully loaded clip.
4. Reinsert mag pusher once 10 clips have been loaded.
5. Cock the gun by pulling back the ram. To fire, simply
pull the trigger.

Danny4878 (author)2011-03-05

Awesome gun.... especially how it actually shoots 2 instead of 1 bullets. LOL, I also shot my nephew in the back HAHAHA!

Seleziona (author)2010-09-19

i love it, but there's one problem, the bullets go way up when i shoot! any way to fix it?

An Villain (author)Seleziona2010-12-12

Yes, make them heavier (serious.)

Seleziona (author)An Villain2010-12-13

How? Make a mold for them, and make them out of some kind of metal?

An Villain (author)Seleziona2010-12-13

You could do that, I was thinking get a 7mm steel bearing and stuff it into the circular slot in the gray connectors.

Seleziona (author)An Villain2010-12-14

Wouldn't it fall out?

An Villain (author)Seleziona2010-12-14

No, K'nex pieces accept 6mm bearings, which are slightly too small, and 7mm are slightly too large so they will stay put fine.

Seleziona (author)An Villain2010-12-15

Oh, okay.

An Villain (author)Seleziona2010-12-15

Yes.

Seleziona (author)2010-09-19

very good! I'm gonna build soon.

MrSillyGuns (author)2010-09-03

Very nice! looks realistic but the handle looks a little uncomfy. I will definatley build this and send pics!!! P.S. 5* :)

Big Z (author)MrSillyGuns2010-09-03

Thanks!

MrSillyGuns (author)Big Z2010-09-03

here it is and its great and i dont think its worth taking apart :) ocasionally it puts 2 or 3 bullets into the barrel but i guess its an easy fix THANKS for the great gun!!

Big Z (author)MrSillyGuns2010-09-04

np, thanks! By the way, dont forget to clip off the last inch of the rod, if you dont want it to stick out of the barrel like that :)

MrSillyGuns (author)Big Z2010-09-04

I'd rather not becuase thats my only black rod :o i use the same ram for everything :P

Big Z (author)MrSillyGuns2010-09-04

haha, I've been there. I didn't used to have as many pieces as I do now.

~KGB~ (author)2010-09-03

i like it! by the way, its a usp.45...

Big Z (author)~KGB~2010-09-03

Actually, no, it is a USP 40. While less popular than a USP .45, the USP .40 is still a completely different gun, or, at least a different model. Sorry if there was some confusion.

~KGB~ (author)Big Z2010-09-04

ok, no bother... lol, i compared it to my airsoft usp.45 and they look identical, thats how i was confused, lol!

Big Z (author)~KGB~2010-09-04

Ya, the 45 and 40 models are fairly similar, but it was easier to get the specific angles on the 40 than the 45, wich is why I made it.

~KGB~ (author)Big Z2010-09-04

yup, kool

~Aeronous~ (author)~KGB~2010-09-03

Naw it ain't, theres 45, and theres 40s.

~KGB~ (author)~Aeronous~2010-09-04

k, i know now.

TwistedParadox (author)~KGB~2010-09-04

There is also one chambered in 9mm

~KGB~ (author)TwistedParadox2010-09-04

kool

TwistedParadox (author)~KGB~2010-09-03

Where did you get that idea? It even says it in that brilliant game

~KGB~ (author)TwistedParadox2010-09-04

???

knexsuperbuilderfreak (author)2010-09-02

nice model!!! but theres 1 thing missing a trigger guard

Thanks! And im sorry theres no trigger guard, but i couldn't figure out a way to make one. If someone else can find a way I'll be glad to update the post with it :)

hmm well its quite hard with the gun it self i made the trigger area and i couldnt got one that looks good or even mad your finger fit

Yep, thats the same problem I'm having.

MrSillyGuns (author)2010-09-03

Dont kill ur balljoint just use a grey connector and cut it down like that

~Aeronous~ (author)2010-09-03

EPIC. Add a guard.

Big Z (author)~Aeronous~2010-09-03

I'll try, thanks :)

TwistedParadox (author)2010-09-03

get a trigger guard and you're all good

TheFoofinator (author)2010-09-02

Good, 4*, but they type of guns may be your speciality, but they all look the same to me!
