IN THIS TUTORIAL, I WILL TEACH YOU ABOUT :
■INTRODUCTION TO HTML
■ WRITING TEXT IN HTML
■COLOURING THE BACKGROUND OF YOUR WEB-PAGE
■ GIVING A HEADING AND ITS ATTRIBUTE.
Step 1: What Is HTML?
TYPES OF WEBSITES-
●STATIC - These websites usually do not do anything, these are just read only websites*.
●DYNAMIC - These websites are full of pop-ups, moving things etc. These are very functional.
HTML can create both of them but dynamic webite will require *java script* with html.
THUS, WE CONCLUDE THAT HTML IS A SCRIPTING LANGUAGE USED TO CREATE WEBPAGES.
Step 2: Introduction to HTML Coding.
STEP 1: Open notepad in your pc.
STEP 2: Then write the above (in the images) code in it.
STEP 3: 'Save as' the code as ☆any name.html☆ and chose file type as 'all files'.
STEP 4: Open it in your browser.
Step 3: Meaning of the Code.
TYPES OF TAGS
CONTAINER - these require a closing and an opening tag
eg. the html tag
EMPTY - these only require an opening tag only.
eg. the br tag
ATTRIBUTES - these describe the properties of tags like the body tag will have bgcolor as its attribute.
1.html(a container tag) - When your browser reads the html file then it will first come across the tag 'HTML'.This tag defines the browser that the cose was written in html and all its following tags should be represented as a part of an html file.
2.head(a container tag) - As you can see in the image, I have encircled a part of chrome browser. That particular part as you know, holds the name and sometimes the logo of the website.
the head tag holds another tag called-
1.title(a container tag ) - this tag is used to write name it is written after head tag and encloses the text.
3. Body(a container tag) - This tag holds the most important part the matter or the body of the web-page, however the story changes when we use 'frames' (that i will tell you later on) this will contain all other tags used.
4. Text (a container tag) - this tag can hold some amount of text and can be given attributes.
5. P (a container tag) - this can contain big paragraphs and is better than text while typing paragraphs as it can align them better.
6. all the closing tags.
Step 4: Giving a Background Color, Giving Text Color, Giving a Heading.
2.GIVING A BACKGROUND COLOR - A backround colour can be given which will colour the whole web-page's background. This tag's colour can be written as text (for simple colours) and hexadecimal codes (for complex shades).eg. black and #ffffff are both same colours.IT IS WRITTEN IN THE BODY TAG AS AN ATTRIBUTE.
3.GIVING A TEXT COLOUR - Text can also be coloured in html using this attribute. It will colour all the text of the web-page as a whole except those text which are already coloured.IT IS USED IN BODY TAG AS AN ATTRIBUTE.
Step 5: Plans for the Next Part.
