Next we need to show all hidden files in finder.
This is pretty simple. We're ganna have to use the terminal to do this so go to applications>utilities>Terminal. Then copy and past this in without quotations "defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE"
Then we need to relaunch finder, so hold the option key and hold the finder icon on your dock then a menu pops up, click relaunch.
Now you should see files that all have periods before their names that means their hidden files. (probably shouldn't mess with these too much unless you know what your doing).

This Instructable is for Mac users. If you run Windows, just launch Windows Explorer (the file manager thingy) and maneuver to the iPod_Control and Music folders to do the same work.

IF you don't know how to launch Windows Explorer (there are many ways) just RIGHT-click on the Start Button and left-click on Explore. Maneuver your way in the left pane to the drive letter that represents your iPod.
