| first thing you need to do is format you SD card (2 GIG or smaller non
SDHC), then put the version of the hack that matches your firmware, then
put the homebrew channel stuff on your SD card. Also take note of the
number that is stamped around the center hole of the disc (U.S.A. only),
does it end with a 0 or a 2? remember the last number. there are very
detailed instructions that come with the twilight hack. make sure you
have the Zelda game. yes, you have to play the game and make a save
game. this save game goes onto the internal memory of the wii. then
restart your wii with the memory card installed, but not the game.
delete the save game from the internal memory, then copy over the hack
from your SD card. exit back to wii menu and start zelda game. load your
save game and there will be a choice for the U.S. version on which save
game to load 0 or 2, the number that's on the disc. I had a disc with a
0 on it and i loaded the top save game. once the game starts talk to the
man or walk backward and homebrew channel will install. after that you
may uninstall the twilight hack from SD card, it's no longer needed. the
rest of the stuff must stay on the SD card for homebrew channel to work.
Before you start the Twilight Hack, make sure your SD card is setup
right. when you have it in your computer, open up the card and you
should see a folder that says private (thats the twilight hack), another
folder that says apps (homebrew channel), and a file that says boot.dol
