Hacking simple unprotected Games

Using Windows Pinball as an example, I will show how to easily change the memory values(score etc.,etc.,...). It would have more pics if my computer wasnt a piece of shi*

But I think I have enough that will be able to lead you through everything.

Step 1 Play a bit

Step one is the easiest.
Just play a bit of pinball to get a score. You wont get mine but whatever yours is just substitute it with mine.
You dont need a high score just perferably a 4-6 digit number.

sometimes you have to multiply the values by 8 so keep that in mind when you keep getting the wrong values.

no, cheat engine isnt a virus, I use it sometimes and what you're detecting is the value changer.

you will not suceed in hacking runescape or any server/client type game, it is fundamentally impossible since all the logic and game rules are enforced on the server end, even if you could hijack and gain complete control of the client it wouldent do you any good.

the cheat code for pinball: start playing a new game and type: hidden test and then you can control the ball with your mouse.

to bad you can only cheat on the client side of the video game, if you wanted to use this in a MULTI PLAYER game then you would only be able to edit client side stuff, not invincibility and such.

is there any way to get to a vertain level in world of warcraft (private server) I looked for the value 81(my current level), but ce gave me about 50 results

I seriously doubt it. Networked games (and especially MMOs like Eve, WoW, and even Diablo 2) store all your critical character information on the server. In the pinball example, your score never leaves the computer. In a game like Diablo 2 (when played *offline*), the game reads your save file to get this information. But for WoW and similar games, when you log in the game asks the server, "okay, what characters does this guy have, and what levels are they?" You'll have to edit the server itself somehow to do this (which should be possible with admin tools that I'd imagine are included with the private server).

start a new game in pin ball and launch the ball. Then press "H" and a window will pop up. Type in your name and you will have a score of 1,000,000.

This is a really old hack. Plus on the CE forum- forum.cheatengine.org There is many tutorials to hack other games with this same or similar engine.
