On a lightly floured surface, roll out pie dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch. Using a large knife cut out wings. First, make vertical cuts in the dough about 1-1/2 inches apart. Make a second set of cuts on a diagonal to create diamond shapes, also 1-1/2 inches apart. Using a small round pastry cutter or substitute(I used a pastry tip), cut a round section out of the bottom of each wing.
