Halloween decor werewolf head

Step 7Done!

Done!
Once the fur looks good, comb it out and make him look respectable. I got a lovely wood panel for the back of him to make it look complete and more "official". Add a silver bullet and a story and you have your werewolf trophy ready to hang! You could add different features to make a dragon, monster or whatever you want!

I used National Fiber Technology fur to make the long scruff on the back of his head. It's more expensive but creates a very realistic look. The rest of the fur is stuff i bought on ebay and at JoAnn fabrics.

So there you have it! A relatively easy way to mod a taxidermy form for your upcoming halloween party! Have fun!

Looks awesome. Only suggestion would be on the hair. All one color makes it look "flat" Suggestion would be to mingle lighter greys to give it a more realistic look. Or if the hair is a single piece, use a streaking technique as a hairdresser would to add the hightlights.

Awesome job!!!

this is totally awesome! I do have a question about the longer fur, though. What kind of fur did you get from nftech? I'm assuming full werewolf but I just wanted to ask because the website doesn't have any images of their products. Thanks in advance, and keep up the amazing work!

I wish I could something like this (have neither time, money, patience, skill). This is absolutely amazing. I think it would also be interesting if you did one like the more hairless-looking werewolf like the one that appears in Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban (3rd movie). Some of your earlier in-process pictures made that seem like a very fascinating result (plus it'd be cheaper _~)
