I wanted to mount my 2 meter amateur radio in my 2006 Mustang but there just isn't a lot of space. After looking all over the 'net there just wasn't a commercially available bracket that I liked. So I built one. By using a yardstick from Ace and some vice grips I built a mount that didn't require screws into the dash. The total cost for the project was under $15.00. And I can take the whole thing out in a couple of minutes.

Thanks for watching,
Dan
Nice job. Do you have any lateral movement or wobbling?

I need to come up with a holder for my 2 meter HT. I might be able to use something from your idea.

73
No wobble. It's actually much more stable than I thought it would be. Glad you could get some ideas from it.
