Introduction: Ham and Cheese Sandwiches

Here is how to make some quick but delicious sandwiches for work lunches, all in portioned sized bags ready for freezing!

Step 1: Ingredients

You will need:

Step 2: First Layer

Spread the butter then mustard onto the slices of bread. The butter acts as a barrier to stop the mustard seeping out when defrosting.

Step 3: Second Layer

Next place the ham then the sliced onions onto your sandwich's.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 4: Third Layer

Now for the cheese, slice and place your cheese on top and finish your lunches with another slice of bread.

Step 5: Packaging

Stack the finished sandwiches into lunch portions, in my case two sandwiches, then put each lunch into a plastic bag and seal with a twisty tie. These can now be put in the freezer for the week.

Step 6: Finished

These are great for lunches and don't mind being frozen for up to a month.

I'd rather have more ham and cheese on one sandwich than a skimpy amount on two. It is not healthy for anyone to be eating 4 pieces of bread at lunch unless they are working a jackhammer 8 hours a day. Seriously, too much sodium ; flour drives one's appetite instead of satisfying it.
